I guess we kinda predicted our future on this very blog. As mentioned way back in April we had been doing some work on a farm house in the hudson valley that would be the future home of our friend’s yoga retreat, Heartland. So funny, but we wrote in jest that it sure would be nice to live there…….. well we do now.

After getting rid of our crowded apartments in Brooklyn we began our crazy journey of being transient dwellers of sorts. Here are some photos of the process.

We have been such bad bad girls. We had so many intentions of adding to our blog daily only to let it go to the blog wasteland…. well times are a changing over here at domestic construction!! In an effort to update all our friends and family members of what we have been up to we will begin to post what we have been doing since April and then vow to keep it current from now on…. we promise. pinky swear even. thank you for your patience and support.

-weekend retreats starting in may. it’s a magical place. it’s become our second home, whether they are aware of it or not!
this was the first ceiling we’ve ever done, despite the neck and shoulder issues it was a blast! you should check this place out if you get a chance! it’s a real gem. we may be doing some natural dyeing workshops up there this summer so stay tuned!
ps… they have chickens that lay the most beautiful blue eggs we have ever seen! chickens are cute.

we’re really excited about this new project! our friend is opening a magical yoga retreat house upstate in may. we’re doing the ceiling in the yoga room! the energy of the place is liberating!
